The professional padel player and member of the Adeslas Padel Team, Sanyo Gutiérrez, tells us about the reality of the social life of an international elite player.
“I have a lot of friends in Spain, where we see each other at tournaments… Or if I go to Madrid to train, I always visit my friends and we end up having dinner, but I go to train. I don’t have a social life”, says Sanyo.
The demands of daily preparation and the competition, always itinerant and demanding of exclusive concentration, are two fundamental elements to understand what lies behind the day-to-day life of a world-class player: “We think that coming to train with the boys, going to the gym, where we have fun and enjoy ourselves… I’m doing my job, it’s not my social life”.
