The 2024 PPL Draft will feature the introduction of three new franchises: Houston Volts, Flowrida Goats and New York Atlantics.
This second season of the Pro Padel League comes with a host of new features, including the participation of top players, more teams, a large increase in the number of matches and a very attractive prize money.
The draft
The PPL continues its work to promote padel in the United States, with its second season bringing with it important changes. After a successful debut, this league presents many new features for 2024.
Pro Padel League Draft will mark the start of the 2024 season, and will take place this Tuesday 13th February at 9pm virtually, with a total of three rounds. The first round will be exclusively for the new franchises.
Addition of big-name players, increased prize money and an expanded format that will include three new franchises and a greater number of matches. All of this will make it even more important in the current world padel scene.
In 2023, the Draft had 600 players due to the need to form teams from scratch, this year the number has been reduced to 300. However, only 23 of them will have the opportunity to join the league.

The increasing attraction of this competition is mainly due to the incorporation of great players such as Fede Chingotto, Pablo Lima, Juan Martín Díaz, Miguel Lamperti, Victoria Iglesias and Tamara Icardo, among others.
